Our ECD center was established due to a passion to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment, especially in the ECD phase which are the fundamental building blocks that form a child in early childhood.

Our team of dedicated teachers is committed to providing care, love, and nurturing to each child in our care. We strive to create a rich learning environment that fosters the overall growth and development of each child. We believe that each child is ubique and worthy of quality education and are.

At The Apple Tree Academy, our little learners are grouped into nurturing classes based on their age and developmental stage. Each group has its own unique identity, creating a sense of belonging and fun as children learn and grow together.

I am a former Apple Tree Academy parent, which my child attended for 2 years. From the first day he attended, to the very last – we were both entirely happy! The curriculum and its presentation are a perfect blend of academic instruction and the way children learn best—through play and physical activity. Students engage with academic material in fun, meaningful ways that never feel monotonous. The staff were great at communicating expectations, and lesson plans that didn’t feel to rigid to child – all this without abandoning the standard. Administratively, the staff were always well prepared and communication was constant and open. They love what they do, and it is evident in how they run the administration, present the classes and teach the children. Outside of academic curriculum, the environment foster great social values. The children cooperate well with one another, and truly enjoy their time there. I would gladly enrol all my children at Apple Tree Academy to prepare them for success in primary school and beyond.

From our first conversation over the phone in Term 2, Mariska was warm, welcoming, and eager to assist with enrolling my son into her crèche. We began our journey with Apple Tree Academy in 2022, and over the years until 2024, my son thrived in the nurturing environment. In 2026, our school will be I introducing our Gr R class, where we will facilitate our continual curriculum, during the transition from ELDS framework to the CAPS curriculum.
